Colonialism, the subjugation and plunder of other peoples, is not a specific characteristic of capitalist society, but a feature of all class societies based on exploitation. Today the imperialist countries have subjugated the whole world and vie among each other for new spheres of power and influence. In the 1950s and 1960s the old colonial system, partly still a holdover from feudalism, was smashed. Most of the countries of Africa and Asia gained political independence, but this did not end their economic dependence on the imperialists. The far-reaching changes due to the internationalization of production and capital export have also changed the conditions of the oppression of these countries. Neocolonialism created changed conditions for the national liberation struggle because it introduced capitalism in all countries of the world and advanced the class division between working class and capitalist class. In the book, for the first time the thesis is put forward that the socialist revolution today must assume an international character.
This book belongs in the hands of everyone who wants to fight effectively against the causes of the flight of millions of people, and whose heart beats for international solidarity!
